An exhibit placing emphasis on acquiring original art at affordable prices while supporting the Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts' community arts mission. Newly donated works by area artists will be combined with works from the art center's own collection.

This exhibition highlights local and regional emerging artists who lived or worked for a year or more in Milwaukee area elder-care communities. There were participants in the Student Artists in Residence (SAIR) program, which has enriched the lives of art students and their elder partners by fostering a rich and deep exchange across generations, experiences, and time.

Ramona decides on her own that creating art is an important activity for her. We feel that she deserves this chance to show the world that she’s a committed artist. In this time of uncertainty, young folks like Ramona give us all hope for a brighter future.
