Cities and Souls:
Reflections on Urbanism
Cities and Souls - Not Inferno
For millennia, humans have reflected on the joys and sorrows of urbanity. It has been imagined that cities are an “inferno” of socio-physical interaction. But what are the things that are not inferno? What do artists do to examine and elevate the things and people that make cities work and give them beauty and durability? In this exhibit, Cities and Souls, artists and poets examine the phenomenon of urbanity and how it shapes spaces and souls.
