Bubble Boy
I look up and see the reflections
I fly up and pass through
The windows reflections
The street and the snow
The branches of the crab apple
I float inside the glass ball
Basking in the reflected sunshine
I can see the cars pass
I can see the second reflection
On t'other side of the bubble
Tone warmer
I see the splash of sun
On the green and red carpet
Black fur of the cat sits in
And then wanders off
Can I pass through
The reflected window
On the far side
Or are these reflections only
Illusions
But I am in the ball
Is it like a worm hole?
To another universe
The cat jumps on the marble table
To catch a drink out of the bowl All
of this inside and around
the 8 inch glass ball
hanging above me
a universe unto itself
a place to dream
to escape my fears
to embrace my future
I hear the heat blowing
the furnace is on
I float effortlessley in the ball
I want to stay here forever
could that be?
Would you join me there?
Ja, You
come join me
in my dream ball
floating above the room
my body shrunken to two fine inches
not a care in the world
inside my glass bubble
why not?
Just say it is so
so sweet
so safe
so secure
in my little glass
bubble
